Hello, I’m Anna — the heart and hands behind Petal Polka, my little home-based flower studio in beautiful Woodvale.

 

Petal Polka blossomed from a simple love: creating floral moments that feel delicate, thoughtful, and deeply personal. Over time, that love has grown into a boutique floral service where every bouquet, arrangement, and installation is crafted with intention, care, and a touch of whimsy.

My journey into floristry has been anything but ordinary. After years working in the corporate world, I found myself craving something softer — something creative, expressive, and soul-filling. Flowers were always whispering to me, and eventually I decided to lean into that calling. What began as small projects at home soon became weddings, workshops, events, and heartfelt celebrations for people who value beauty in the details.

 

Whether I’m designing a gentle pastel bouquet, building a romantic bridal piece with only a few days’ notice, or styling an event space to feel like a dream, my approach stays the same: every stem is placed with purpose, every design with heart.
